YWCA Brisbane is dedicated to making the world a better place by bringing people together to highlight opportunities for young people, especially young women, to overcome obstacles and grasp opportunities.

YWCA Brisbane is a women’s membership movement, sustained by the richness of many beliefs and values, creating opportunities for the growth and empowerment of women and girls in order to attain a common vision of justice, freedom, health, dignity and care for all people through women’s leadership.

The objects of YWCA Brisbane are the relief of poverty, sickness, destitution, homelessness, suffering or misfortune among women for the benefit of the larger Brisbane community.

We want to involve you in our programming. Come and volunteer with us. Come and mentor with us. Come and share opportunity, hope and relief.

You can be involved by:

• Becoming a mentor with YWCA Programs like CVS, Community Companions, Speak or Leadership;
• Volunteering at the YWCA Thrift Shop;
• Becoming a member;
• Donating your time, clothes or household items;
• Funding a program.
